Buying in Spain

Are you buying an overseas property for the first time?
Then you'll probably have lots of questions and are unsure where to start.

Or are you an existing overseas property owner?
If you are, then you’ll already know that it can become a challenging process.

Here are just a few things you need to think about:

● Legal Advice
● Financial Advice
● Mortgage Options
● Currency Exchange
● Inspection Tour
● Buildings Insurance
● Contents Insurance
● Furnishing
● Rental Management

You have two options:

● You can do all or part of it yourself
● You can always let us help you to do it

We can help with all the time-consuming and difficult bits.
We are an authorised real estate agent for all of the developments.
We deal direct with the developer or master agent, not with some third party.
Then the hardest bit for you will be choosing which overseas property to buy.

Legal & Financial Advice

When you're buying an overseas property, it's one of the biggest and most exciting investments that you'll ever make and the important 'golden rule' is to have independent legal and financial advice.

Mortgage Options

Further information on Mortgage Advice Bureau and mortgages for overseas property is available on our dedicated Mortgages page.

Currency Exchange

Currency Matters are currency and foreign exchange specialists, based here in the North West of England, and from our own personal experiences they offer excellent rates and service for the overseas property buyer, including the making of regular overseas currency transfers.

Further information on Currency Matters and their currency and foreign currency service is available on our dedicated Currencies page.

Inspection Tour

Allow a minimum of 4 days, or combine it with a holiday break.
You can organise your own trip, or we’ll help you to arrange it.
You pay your own way for the visit so you’re completely independent of us.
Either way, we’ll set up all the appointments, your collection and property visits.
If you come home and decide not to buy this time round, you’ll feel under no obligation.

Holiday Home Insurance

Intasure is an international building and contents insurance specialist with a proven track record in pioneering new products. Intasure house insurance policies are designed around the needs of property owners abroad (and second homes in the UK) and combine locally tailored cover with the reassurance of English language documents and UK back-office service and support.

Further information on Intasure and their holiday home insurance service is available on our dedicated Insurance page.
